Gopinath, popularly known as ‘Neeya Naana Gopinath’, is the host of the popular Vijay TV debate show called ‘Neeya Naana?’. The show is arguably one of the most popular Tamil talk shows in Tamil Nadu. It generates a lot of awareness among Tamil audience on many social issues and topics which is seen taboo in Tamil society.

Though he is reluctant to claim credit for the success of the show, his personality, debating style and knowledge contributed immensely to make the show so popular. Gopinath who visits Sydney on Saturday (15 June 2013) is hosting a debate show with local Tamil audience. SBS Tamil spoke to him on his career and the visit to Australia.
